Due to the speed in which the Obama administration’s regulatory initiatives on carbon management are proceeding and the recent SEC interpretive guidelines on Climate Change Disclosures this important topic has quickly risen to the top of corporate agendas. In addition, the Environmental Protection Agency’s new reporting requirements for large emitters of greenhouse gases, and the impending Congressional legislation to advance the reduction of greenhouse gas or carbon emissions both are equally gaining attention and traction.
